I know you have ill feelings for your father for abandoning you and not facing the responsibilities he ought to face, But one thing remains to be true, he is your father. If it were'nt for him, you are not born. You should learn to forgive him for his failures and move on with life. Leave the bad past behind. Hating him for the rest of your life will not benefit you. Will it? You reap nothing by hating him. But forgiving him will really ease the burden you feel. People always do bad things against us. We get mad but we have to accept things and forgive their wrondoings, just like we want to be forgiven for our mistakes. Talk to your father and free yourself from hate and learn to love him or at least like him for the good things you see in him.

Yes. you should forgive your father. He is ur father without him you will not be here in wonderful world. Maybe He abandoned you for a reason...dont think that he is bad. Talked to him and asked him why did he abondoned you. Understand him. if ur father truly repeant the things he done in his life is bad..then accept ur father who he is..

It's not about forgiving. You are better than he is. HE left YOU. Not the other way around. You just have to move on with your life because he's not worth it. My biological father did that to my mother and I when she first found out she was pregnant. He signed off all rights to me. It's his loss.

I would because we are humans and we all make mistakes even the worse kind. I think we all need second chances because it is ok to make mistakes, that is how you learn from them.

Our Lord Iesous Christ said that we should forgive in order that our Father in heaven will forgive us. In short, if we do not forgive those who sin against us, our sins will not also be forgiven. God also says that we should love our enemies. Therefore we should learn how to forgive people who offend us even if they do not ask forgiveness from us. The more if he is your father.
