you loved someone or liked someone....but you holded back for some reasons......did you ever had to face this and if yes then under what circumstances and what how you feel about it.

Yes it happened to me a few times, it wasn't love but just admiration, it could have been love but there was no point in talking about it or trying to develop it; and i had to hold it back as the girls in each case where not free and I wouldn't interfere with their relationships..
