The only time that a diabetic is allowed to eat bananas is when it is still almost green and firm. Ripe to over ripe is POTENTIALLY dangerous, because of the changes in sugar and starch

i didn't quite get the point of your post. since you started it under diabetes as your health concern, were you asking if banana is good for diabetics? bananas are rich in potassium, and contain vitamins B,C, and A. bananas promote healthy bowels, cardiovascular health,protection from stokes, protection from ulcers, may boost mood and energy, and even help reduce water retention. i think that since diabetes may cause some of these problems, eating bananas may prove to be beneficial to diabetics.
