star is a representation of how you stand here in mylot , , it means that you have been posting good quality discussions , , it doesn't mean that those who got lower stars do not post good discussions , , it just happened you got higher ratings than them , ,

Well thanks. You are also having an eight on your star. Has it any effect on your earnings. I am basically trying my best to post quality responses. Will try to do that for long. Thanks once again.

That was good. You do have in you the quality to post better and better. Hence you could take that to ten within a week. Still in the learning process n hope I can do it too. Of course, if I get more positives from you all.

Congratulations! You got your star very fast, perhaps you have been very active or loaded many pictures and so on. I have been rather lazy lately but today I have answered to many discussions so I hope to get a higher rating in time. I think quality is better than quantity and keeps this site interesting.

I have come to know about the stars by a friend of mine. These stars show how much active you are in myLot. When you respond to a discussion you get a + or - rating. When you get lot of positives then your star status increases. It does have some effect in our earnings but not that much. You should always post good discussions and responses with no one liners. Hope you have cleared your doubts.

congrats for you!! Finally you made it.As i know,the star against your name showing your reputation if you point your cursor there.The higest is 10.That means your point would be 100/100.
I heard that the higher your points(when people rate you + )the higher earnings you'll get.So i hope you will continue posting nice and good responses to get more earnings.Good luck for you.

Hi there, I also reached 100 posts today and got my star, which is a 6. I'd really like to know what goes into making up that number since I thought i've always given thought out, balanced and articulate responses to discussions. I find the star rating system intriguing as well as the payments as there doesn't seem to be a set rule in terms of how much is paid and it doesn't seem to make any difference if you provide a good answer or not.

well Congrats.:-)having a six number star is very good. You have been posting quality posts. This number denotes what other users are rating you i.e. + or -. When you get more positives, your rating goes up and so do the star number. It has some effect on our earnings too.
