Policeman Killed at football match

Every football match in italy is cancelled indefinately after a policeman was killed during violence in a league match on Friday. How can football possibly go this far? its a sport, supposed to be entertaining anf fun, not a matter of life and death. What are your views on the future of "the beautiful game"?

I dont think you can blame this on sport this is fans who think of themselves and what they can do at the match not the sport itself. We have lost civility.
