Theres this saying that,"the Devil you know is better than the Angel you do not know" What does that really mean to you? To me, the devil will and always remain a devil to me and an angel will and always remain an angel.

the phrase 'the devil you know is better than the angel you do not know' means this to me... we all know what evil and bad things are. and so we are use to it. and it's in our nature to mess up and make mistakes. but good, is something that we are scaried of and don't know much of, because it doesn't happen much at all.

It just simply means that you know and have experience dealing with someone or something and even if you don't like it, someone or something new may be worse. For example: You hate your job and your boss (devil). You quit your job and get a new job and a new boss (angel). Now suppose your new boss and job are worse than the one you already had? So it would seem the devil you knew is better than the angel you just met!! But than again, what is life without risks? Be fearless. LOL

My old boss used to say this a little differently. His version was, "the devil that you know, could be worse then the devil that you don't know" (referring to himself I believe). I like your spin on it too and I agree completely with your version. A devil is always a devil, and an angel, always an angel. :-)
