Had to hire lawyer and pay $866 TO RETRIVE $2150 THAT a buyer on ebay tried to rip me off. Pay pal was helping them right along until I hired a lawyer. Laywer makes 2 phone calls within 20 minutes and has payment the next day buy certified check. Pay pal would not help me even though I could prove without a doubt the buyer recieved the goods. They used the term "we cant take your word for it". TAKE MY WORD FOR IT! I HAVE PROOF! Another funy thing is the day I got the check they send me a e-mail saying give us 30 more days to review the claim against you. What a joke I even called them 2 times prior telling them I had been paid and to forget about the claim. BUNCH OF IDIOTS. Another humurous issue is with the post office. Since the buyer made the claim of no goods and then turns around and say oh I did get them afterall here is your money back(with help of my lawyer), now the post office is persuing the matter for POSTAL FRAUD. THINK YOU LIKE PAYPAL? YOU NIGHT UNTIL YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THEIR SERVICE AND ARE OUT MONEY OR CANT ACCESS YOUR MONEY OR USE ACCOUNT FOR 180 DAYS. THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!

Thanks for the advise. I have no choice to use them since I sell on ebay. If I didnt accept paypal payments I have a strange feeling that they would not buy from me. I beleive me sales would be lower. I also fel they know it and have you "by the balls" so to speak. Paypal needs some compitition to straighten their act out and reconsider some of their polices. Did you know it you have a dispute or chargeback on youyr account you cant even to speak to anyone in that department about the matter. You must submit e-amils back and fourth for communication. The emails can take uop to 3 days going in each direction. I CAN SEND A LETTER FIRST CLASS THROUGH THE U.S. MAIL FASTER THAN THAT!

I'm not sure I'd really ever make any transaction that large using paypal! Purchases with "companies" as opposed to online fronts are a lot safer. If I'm ever out any $ it's for a minimal amount that wouldn't really make a huge difference in my financial situation. That amount is just too big to be "trusting" anyone I don't know! LOL You're braver then I am!
