Kobe won't be the MVP this year, it's a no brianer, its steve nash, don't get me wrong guys, i'm a fan of kobe, but the lakers are really playing great as a team, everybody has improved primarily because of Phil Jackson, with him giving the confidence of the young guys, the lakers will be a team you don't want to meet in the playoffs, with Lamar back and kwame almost there, not to mention chris mihm, although i have no idea what his status is, the lakers will be ready to face any team in the playoffs, Give credit to Phil Jackson, he turned this team around, although don't blame Kobe too for taking a lot of shots before Phil came back cause that's the way things are in L.A. when shaq was still in the team, they took almost 70$% of their shots, Bottom line is i think Kobe won't win the MVP, but the Lakers has a great chance of winning the championship.

Here's a post I totally agree with-- I don't forsee Kobe winning MVP either-- But I do see the Lakers getting much better--- Right now they are down on their luck with players out-- but once they get back and get healthy-- Watch out- They will be a team worth watching! I don't agree with Steve Nash-- How about Dirk?

I agree with you and you present a great case for the Lakers and how they will be strong in the playoffs. Phil Jackson was the missing element that the Lakers needed for them to be successful in the post Shaq era and he brings a much needed post season coaching experience to the Lakers that still rely on Kobe as the goto guy. As for winning the championship, I'm only certain of one thing. Whoever wins the Western Conference will be the champions.
