Star rating on mylot

star rating indicates the reputation of a user,it is determined by mylot by analyzing + and - got to a user.i don't know exact algorithm!i think it will help to earn more!but you cant earn from star rating alone.you have to post discussions or response so that others give you a + or - rating.so you can earn more!according to mylot there are equal importance for a user with rating 10 and 5!so don't upset if your rating is low.i will try to rate if you post some quality response or discussion.it should be 3-4 lines;also best response increase your rating!

I have a 4 star rating.Like you I have absolutely no idea how this is done or how it will help us? The one bad thing about mylot is it doesn't have a help section,which is a must for every site in my opinion.
