Are people being honest about their locations on mylot?

i have a strange feeling that people that join mylot just lie about many things in their profile.. like where they are from, and if they are male or female.... what do you think??

Nope- I ran into some pretty heavy discussions a couple days back-- I always try to look at the profile to those types of discussions before I respond- I like to know the age and the location of who is asking-- Some times it states age 8-- Come on-- An 8 year old wouldn't ask things like Rape? whats the punishment-
I'm not sure why people aren't truthful about their age at least- And you don't have to put what city you are from- It can simply say US. So I'm not sure why people do it-

It does not happen just on mylot, its happening all over the web it is not safe to trust ppl you meet online.
