Okay I make music(rap to be exact) and I wanted to know if given the opportunity to work on my music during the summer when I am off from school(traveling and doing shows) do you think I should take that opportunity if I am offered an internship that will help in my electrical engineering career (which I am in school for). I have done one summer of internship, but do put school before music... what do you think???

Which is more important for you, pursuing that electrical engineering thing or to take the opportunity as regards harnessing that music talent of yours for the summer break? If you believe that the second option will be more fulfilling for the moment, take it. Sometimes we have to take a break from school in order to find ourselves fully refreshed at the opening of the regular term.

Music is one good avenue to express more yourself and your passion. However, I feel that you must put consideration into finishing your internship since you are nearly close to finishing your studies. Music can wait but a time past and forgotten for studies, such opportunity may not come as it is today. Being able to excel as a musician after finishing your degree is more adorable than becoming a musician with unfinished studies is like a lost camel on the same desert over and over again. Good luck to you.
