Do you think santa clause is a good thing to teach your kids?

Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny are all real to children. As long as my children believe I will continue to play all of them. I love my children and have no intention of ruining the seasons for them. Of course, as my 18 yr old will tell you she still believes in Santa Claus, because she knows she gets more for Christmas that way. LOL

I think teaching our children about Santa Claus is a good lesson because my daughter is twelve, and while she may not believe in Santa Claus as a real being anymore, she understands that Santa Claus is a feeling and is the spirit of giving, not receiving. He is a selfless example of spreading joy and love, so why not explain it to your children that way when they start to question his existence?

i think believing in santa is about beeving in giving. giving is about putting othersbefore yourself and not thinking about it and i think that is what santa is about.

Well not all parents actually teach santa claus to their parents its the media, television and so on.
