the first thing to do isget rid of thatcarpet, because no matter how hard you try, you can't get the smell totally out, and he will always use that spot. THEN! you take away his food and water dishes except when you are feeding him then put him out immediately after feeding and wait outside with him while he does his business then praise him. always do this every time he is allowed to eat, When he goes on the carpet, show him and tell him bad dog! then take it outside and drop it where you want him to go then praise him as if he'd done it there. take him out when you first get up and right before you go to bed.alwayspraising him when he goes. when you aren't home, either lock him in a kennel, or a small room like the bathroom so he knows he is not to go there
