I have been suffering with Muscular Dystrophy for the last 17 years. I have tried many many medications like Allopathy, Ayurveda, Yoga, Accupressure, Pranayama, Massage, etc. and I have found that a combination some of these is helpful for the people suffering from Muscular Dystrophy. First I would like to tell something about this disease. It is a disease which slowly degenerates the muscles of body and the person looses control over his body parts. This gradual lose oof muscles is caused due to the body not producing the necessary protiens and also the main nuro sensor nerves controlling body parts unable to do so. In my next post I will discuss about the main couses of this disease. If any one has anything to say about this diseases feel free to chat with me at shacks1976@hotmail.com

If you can please inform more and more people about this disease, whose victims are growing steadly. As it is said precautioon is better than cure.

How sweet of you to share this link, Willowlady; however, multiple sclerosis (MS) and muscular dystrophy (MD) are two ENTIRELY different diseases. The best site by far for anyone with MD or who wants to learn about MD is: http://www.mda.org This is the Muscular Dystrophy Association site. Hope this helps.

Do you mind, chacks, if I ask what type of muscular dystrophy you have? I have a type called Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSH or FSHD for short). I was first diagnosed two months before my 17th birthday (although I had symptoms before that) and I am now 51. I hope this gives you some hope.
