Rangeela vs DDLJ

I watched the movie Rangeela few days back for the first time. What a performance by Aamir Khan!!
All these days i believed that DDLJ was the best ever movie and Shahrukh's performance in DDLJ was the best ever, but now i have doubts.
Interestingly, both rangeela and DDLJ released in the same year and DDLJ beat Rangeela hands down in box-office, also shahrukh beat aamir khan for the filmfare Best Actor award
Now i want your opinion: which movie was better and whose performance was better?
I feel Rangeela was a more realistic film and Aamir's performance was simply outstanding. What say?

ok..i think many people like DDLJ more as it is a movie where each frame gives u entertainment
now..what about the performance of Aamir in Rangeela and Shahrukh in DDLJ? Which role was more difficult to play?

i like DDLJ more then rangeela,sharukh khan performance in DDLJ was superb and nobody can beat that,aamir khan performance in rageela was good but not upto the mark of sharukh in DDLJ

aamir is true perfectionist and does his movies with utmost sincerity... u can feel that when u watch the movie..
on the other hand srk makes u feel comfortable and entertains u more than anybody else...
i wud say rangeela to be a better film... but rate ddlj higher as far as entertainment is concerned
