What makes mylot addictive??

I am quite new here in mylot, and yes, i have experienced a little addiction! Lol! Before I joined, i wasn't too much into suring the net or getting online, but now, I am getting online everyday just to do mylot! Lol. And likewise, I have read lots of discussions and comments here that they have been doing mylot 3,4,5,8 hours a day or even more! Imagine that! I have friends who are married and have children and I am thinking of introducing them to mylot.. But I am having doubts now, maybe just maybe, if they join my lot, maybe they will spend so much time in here and will start to neglect their other duties at home with their children and husbands/wives..Lol. Really, what do you think makes mylot so addictive? Is it the earnings? (But I think the earnings are not too high in here.) =)

Earning money, sharing knowledge, getting knowledge, making friends, competition, earning money from photo downloading, learning more and more about earning money on internet, trying to get referrals from different websites, lot of action and most of all getting actually paid by mylot. It is real money and not any kind of fraud. so people like it and have become addicted to it.

mylot is addictive. sure it is. maybe because of the earnings. but as you go along with the discussions and posts, you will get to know what really makes it addictive.one is because of the topic that interests you that made you want to shout out your ideas and another is, maybe, the negative reactions that you can get and give to this discussions.

The monetary reward makes it addictive. And with the endless topics and seemingly endless oppurtunity to earn money, it makes people want to stay on here! When I first joined I was on here for ages (I was on the holidays and had the time) and got some great earnings. Now I'm back at school (and have been a member for a little while) the novelty value has worn off and I'll just come here every now and then. My goal is to reach 300 by next friday. This way I don't need to spend much time on here each day, and can slowly accumulate my earnings. Anyway, good luck with your future on Mylot :D pete

Thanks Pete. I agree that when you set a goal for yourself here in mylot, earnings and number of posts, you really have to stay here.. :) May i ask, do earnings just accumulate just as long as you're here in mylot?

winter - winter is addictive to snowsurfers
I think that the thing that makes mylot addictive is the money you earned. Its so easy to make money that you always want to make more and more. So you come back...

Its the ability to converse and discuss with others, while making money. There are so many discussions that it makes it easy to find one that you really want to respond to, at least most of the time. (wow, just FYI, I typed that whole sentence looking over my shoulder and didnt have to correct everything).

I guess what makes mylot addictive is that, for beginners like me, maybe we just want to prove to ourselves that this is a legit money maker =) ..i have tried a lot of surveys, paid surveys as they claim, but havent receive any payment yet. And as for neglecting the works...nahh..i do this when my baby is asleep and my hubby is at work, besides, i guess this is more productive and interesting rather than playing yahoo literati, which is what i was wasting my time before i learned about mylot..thanks to the egroup who receommended this for the stay at home mommies..

Personally, I'm addicted to mylot for a couple of reasons. It's cheaper then therapy. I love to read. I love to help people. I can make a little money to feed my ebay addiction. It's a great stress reliever too. :-)

The whole thing that makes mylot addictive is that you are paid for practically doing nothing .....we just give our advice and suggestions and we are paid ofr it.....it can also be said that we are getting money for free....and i dont think that i am neglecting other duties.....because i come online only when i'm free.....and when i come online i sit on mylot.....so i do my work when it has to be done.....and then only do i come on MYLOT.

Oh yes refer all of your friends. This is not a bad addiction it is a good one. I am totally addicted and still get all of my housework done and have plenty of time for my family too. I have just worked out a schedule for mylot and everything else that I do. I think that it is not the money that makes it addicting it is the conversation and people here. I have been on many other forums and mylot is by far the best one. I enjoy the layout and you can find out so much information here from other people all over the world that are just like you. Invite them and let them see for themselves.

I found myLot very addictive for about the first 500 posts, just because I wanted to be able to copy and paste, but when I arrived I still didn't your the feature. People like to talk and if they can get paid for it becomes addictive. :)

Mylot is addicting because you have the opportunity to make money out of it, besides this is the only legal paying site that I know, most of internet site right now are almost a scam, they are not paying their posters like payposter.com . Mylot is also fun as you could met a lot of people and enjoy discussions , it makes my brain work out.

i think mylot is addictive in the sense that you have something to discuss, something to gain at the same time!you express yourself and at the same time got paid for it!it is like an amateur consultant who is actually being paid!and also,we have been amateur consultant as well in every aspect in life.but do we get paid?noooo....
