Why do people vote for taxes to be increased?

Do they realize the money is going to come out of their own pocket....it's not FREE $ Who cares what the cause.....don't you need your money to live?

Not complicated at all. Taxes...come from the people. We are the people. It's our pockets the money will come out of to pay for the NEW TAXES.
Unless, you don't pay taxes and expect the people that do to pay for everything to benefit you. Then I might understand why you feel its more complicated.
Please share....what's more complicated about taxes to you....I'm interested to understand.
