Then which site is best to earn money online?

I have gone through all the discussions that are going on at mylot regarding earning money online. Whenever any site / blog spot is suggested by any member there are counter views by other members. I have tried many sites, but when the question of payment comes, no site/s sends the payments. Can anyone tell me from which site any member has got consistent income over a long period (except mylot.com) If there is no such web site then why the members of this web site are wasting their time(and others' time).
