He went to the SPCA to look at the dogs there and he saw a bull dog with one bad leg and out of the dozens of other great dogs there he chose that one. My son is 21 and it surprised me that he would do that. Do your kids surprise you with the great choices they make sometimes? I don't have a good picture yet or I would post it with this, maybe later.

Congratulations to you! It is biological that we become a parent but it is our choice to become the best. I believe your son grew up like the way he is because of your good guidance. My daughter is 5-months old and am not really sure how she'd turn out in the future. But now, I'm already proud of her because of the antics and cooing she does.

thanks for the kind words. You have only just begun. :) Lots of love and always remember actions speak way louder than words to your kids, so be a good example. I have so many awesome memories of our son growing and it so unbelieveable it hard not to get emotional just remembering. Have fun with her.

I think he you are a proud father and rightly so. What else can a dad ask for than such a son? I am just 21 but I already think about my future, family and children, I am excited about all those stuff. I would have loved to be in your shoes.

Well I never started a family until I was 29 so you have lots of time. Life is full of blessings for sure and my son and wife are just a couple. :)

My kids do surprise me, even though I know I taught them well. My son opens doors for girls and helps elderly ladies put their groceries in their cars and all sorts of stuff like that. And every time he does it I step back and smile proudly and am surprised. Why does it surprise us?

I is funny that it does surprise us but I am so happy that we have polite kids. Excellent. You can tell them that this old Canadian is equally as proud of them for being polite.
