Did anyone notice we don't get a point for starting a discussion anymore

I haven't noticed, as I have not posted much lately. But ever since they changed this format, I have not been pleased. We don't know what they are doing anymore. We always got paid .2 1/2cents per post. And .2 cents for a reponse. But Linda, you will not see your rates move up with a posting, only a responding reply. However, I once posted the whole day long, and nothing showed, but I did get paid for them.

I have wondered the same thing, because I figure we should at least get something for starting a discussion so others can respond.

They are always changing it. And, sometimes they get stuck, and then catch up. This happens to me all the time, and I just gave up trying to figure it out.

I've never really noticed how I get points or when I get them. I figure it's really of no true bearing on what I'm eventually getting paid and I may as well just enjoy the site for what it is and enjoy the little extra. LOL

i also notice such thing...mylot has made many changes since past weeks... earnings are changed too.....

Hi Linda! I really notice it too that when we start a discussion we dont get points on it, but I read a discussion from one member awhile ago that you have incentives when someone replies in your discussion. Also the star rating has something to do with the earnings the higher your star earnings the higher it pays compare to other low stars. But I notice that there is a certain day that I only reply and thanks all myLot members who responded to my discussion and I get paid for it. oww, anyway thanks linda for the support I got my star back to 8 from a yesterday 7.

I do not remember ever getting any Points for starting a discussion but a lot of things have changed on mylot so I don't know if they don't give them anymore or if we get paid other ways for starting a Discussion

me too noticed to get points is respond rather to post but i think it is not fair enough coz to post you make more effort

Points seem to be awarded now when you get your first response on a topic. Mylot is apt to change and if you saw the last alert they admitted to sneaking something in on us. Be thankful we are earning and things seem to be running fairly smoothly these days. I have seen some days when you double post without trying. That sure is frustrating. Keep your eyes open you are sure to notice alot of things around Mylot!!

I never really noticed. I don't pay attention to that number anymore. I only did when I was trying to reach the 500 mark but I couldn't tell you if it's going up or down. As long as my earnings go up that is all I care about.
