Addicted to caffeine?

China

I never thought I'd find myself one of those needing cafeine to get me going. Now I have coffee almost everyday! I know it is terrible, but it seems the only thing that allows me to get up so early for work and stay up throughout the day. Anyone else an avid caffeine drinker?

I have never had coffee in my life, I just don't like the taste. I have been addicted to sodas though and I'm stopping that. I think less caffenine is better. Water!!!

I know what you mean. I have to have caffeine everyday. I drink coffee, tea, or soda. I have found that if I go without it I get a headache.

Yup. *raises hand* I definitely qualify to be a member of this club! Both my husband and I are avid coffee drinkers. Like you, I am up very early in the mornings (5 AM) and am often still awake at midnight or 1 AM. I have included a link for you, just so you can read more about our affliction! However, all is not bad. There is research out now about some GOOD benefits of caffiene one of the neatest being that it may help ward of Alzheimers!! http://www.caffeinedependence.org/caffeine_dependence.html

i would probably qualify as one, although i'm not that thrilled with its taste. i guess the reason for my regular coffee intake is that it's one of the most convenient drink to reach for while i'm at work. another reason is the proliferation of coffeehouses in the urban setting. i'm an urban prowler (heheh), so more often than not, i can be found swilling my insides with various cofee products in one of those yuppie sidewalk cafes...
