Everytime I view someone's profile I see a star which indicates the rating that person has. for sometime now I've been looking foward to mine but I cant see it, anyway I've noticed I'm not the only one. Do you have the same problem. well, if you dont if someone lacks the star whats the real reason and is there any implication?

Wow the responses to your post answered my question too - I really was wondering what the star means and how to get one. I have a long way to go if it is when you reach 100 - oh gosh I better get my skates on -- lol

look .. i also asked why ... but now i know ... you have to post at least 100 posts to gain a star ... also you have to mark a best response to each discussion to have a reputation after ... give a best response and after 100 post you surely have a good reputation ... just kidding ... you don't neceseraly need to do that ... :D

I think it is a build up of a certain amount of positive ratings from others until you get there. I am not sure of this, but I think I'm on the right track. Maybe others can help.

i don't think so. if that's how you get the star, just to have 100 posts, why i can see others with over 500 posts that has no star with their names. i guess you have to post quality responses to gain a star. just from my point of view and observation. peace :-)
