On February 1, 1328, Charles IV of France dies. He was the last French king of the direct line of the Capetian Dynasty.
On February 2, 1649, Pope Benedict XIII was born.
On February 3, 1368, Charles VI of France was born. He is known as Charles the Mad due to his mental illness.
