I just love road trips!! Last year my family took a 3 week vacation by car. We loaded up the car and 4 kids and drove through 7 states. We had the luxury of time so we mapped out our route and stopped every night and did lots of sight seeing. It was relaxing, stressful, fun, adventurous experience, one that my kids will never forget. Tell me about you experiences with a road trip. Do you love them or dread them?

I like road trips as long as they are not so long... back in Reno we would always drive to Sacramento, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe and those are nice drives but when we drove to Anaheim, my neck hurt for 2 weeks after the trip. I think, you should be able to go out of the car to stretch and see the places you are passing by... nice to discover good eats out there as well.

I just love roadtrips! We had those when we were in college. We'd go a place totally unfamiliar to any of us and get ourselves lost! It's been a while since I last went to a roadtrip.. :D

I would love to go on a real road trip. To me, a road trip is a two hour car ride. That's how much my family travels. I'd really love to drive to a state that doesn't border Pennsylvania, though.

I think it's always a little of both for me. I love them because we are going on vacation and going to spend some quality time with the kids, but I dread them because I realize the children are going to be cooped up , therefore they're no doubt going to be cranky and overtired by the time we get to where we are going.

I love road trips, as you can see new places, and faces and I love getting away and going somewhere new. The only downside was when my grandmother went with us to the beach and was a backseat driver and drove me nuts- with are you going to fast? are we there yet? did you take the wrong turn? I was so happy when I finally got there.
