Oxycotin...what is it?

What is the big deal over this prescribed drug called oxycotin? I never heard of it and do not know what it does. Does anybody know what its supposed to do??

I wasn't sure on this either, so I asked my brother. He says that it is a pain killer but people go after it because it is easily accessable.

It is a pain medication, my sister was on it for a while she had several side effects so she don't take it anymore.
