What is the latest processor in the market today?

For now I'm using a Kentsfield Quad Core which is 4 cores. By the end of this month I'm gonna have a Clovertown Core which is 8 processors.

Are Kentsfield and Clovertown are another manufacturer of processor aside from Intel and AMD?

All those are Intel. Intel just have a knack for naming their processors that way.
