I know this was posted 6 months ago, but i'll give it a try. I do have several questions regarding spousal visas. 1. Do I (american citizen) have to reside in the USA while the papers are processing? 2. I just graduated from college and have absolutely no working experience in the USA. Is this required? 3. Would you suggest K1 or K3? If you reply to this, you're a life saver. I'm getting married (in a foreign country) really soon. The details would help alot. Thanks

Before anything,i would like to ask few questions. Are you an American Citizen by birth? If not, how many years are you residing in US? How soon can you get a job to start? I suggest K3 Visa so that everything will be legal. But you have to find the best immigrant lawyer in town and pay $6,000 if you want the fastest way to bring your spouse in US. This web site that i am going to give you will help a lot. www.visajourney.com .You can compare how long the processing of k1 and k3 visa will take. Good luck to both of you and have a successful and happy blessed married life.

Glad to hear from you so soon! I was born and raised in Hawaii till I was 15, then went through HS and college in a foreign country (took frequent visits to the US). I'll be 23 in Sept, I already have a job waiting for me in The U.S. so that wouldn't be an issue, but how long exactly do I need to start working before I can petition my fiance? I've come across Visajourney.com quite alot, thanks for reminding me about the site. Regards, Charelle
