so called sports stars

Am I the only one who gets really wound up by the obscene amounts of money that gets paid to sports stars?? £100,000 per week to play football, surely this cannot be good for the game.

I just can't understand the emphasis we put on the game of football in this country. We should be concentrating more on jobs that help people and the environment that paying a load of guys to run round and kick a ball.
