Take a holiday with MYLOT!!

Oh my I've just realised I'm going on holiday soon and it will be abroad so I really won't be able to take my laptop with me! What am I going to do without mylot for a whole fortnight and will my star that I've worked so hard for drop because I won't be able to log on for a couple of weeks?? Have any of you gone on holiday and left mylot behind? What happened to your star rating?

I think star ratings depends on how many people rate your answers and discussions, positive or negative. I haven't taken holidays yet from MyLOt I just started last week. But even those who stay active still complain now and then for the decrease in their stars.

Aw thank all of you for your replies - I do read each and everyone even if I can't respond to them all - I've found that I would rather take time responding to your discussions as that earns you points too!

The star rating is fairly new. They just started it a few weeks ago. I do believe it has to do with the quality if your posts and comments. Also if people give you a positive rating. I always give a positive rating unless the topic isn't worth my time. I think you should be fine on your rating while you are gone. Enjoy your holiday!

Oh dear well I do wish you a lovely holiday but of course if you have no access to a computer, I do think that your ratings will go down but when you come back I am quite sure you can build your rating back up here on mylot, I wish you all the best with your holidays though enjoy!!

oh dear..i know while you are away i will look at all your old discussions and rate and answer them..that way i will try to keep you up in the milky way lol..while you enjoy your holiday..that way i can still connect with you through the ether lol..i won;t miss you so much then..cos i will pretend you are still here..

Aw thanks you are such a star!! I'll let you know when I go, although I will be away for a couple of days in the next week or so too as I'm off to see my mom in Brum, although will probably take the lappy and log in from the hotel!

Oh my,im going on a long trip too,for 2mos..so i wont be able to log in that much here..so our star rating would go down?i will be bringing my laptop,but i dont think i could have that much time to log in into mylot..argghh..

Oh you might have gone by the time you get this, but your star rating will only go down if you leave a comment someone doesn't like and they neg you for it! I may be wrong but that's what I've been led to believe!

oh my.. you poor dear.. I can't imagine being away from the computer for that long.. I'd die of withdrawl probably.. lol.. I'm not sure how the rating would work because I've only been here a short time. But when I had to go away for a week at one point I hit every internet cafe I could find the whole time I was gone.. lol... Even if you just get on for 1/2 hr each day, you could get a chance to respond to your responses or respond to a couple discussions... back then I was really involved with IRC and I'd pay up to $10 just to sit at a computer for 1 1/2 hours just to catch up with everyone. :) Here's hoping your going somewhere with an internet cafe
