My children are 6 1/2 years apart. My son, Paulix, is 6 years old and my daughter, Summer, is 18 months old. I definitely enjoy the age difference. My son is very helpful and loves his sister very much, vice versa, my daughter always wants her big brother to play with her. They are very loving towards each other and don't fight like me and my brothers did. What about you. Are your kids close in age or far apart? Do you enjoy or wish for it to be different?

Um, i think you'll find your kids are only 4 1/2 years apart :) For the moment, we only have 1 child but are wanting to try for another baby somewhere near Xmas this year. If that works then our children will be about 2 yrs & 4 months apart which i think is a pretty good age gap! If it doesn't turn out that way then i guess the gap will be a little bigger but never mind, just as long as the gap isn't too huge because we'd like our kids to be fairly close in age without being too close.

Sorry, that was a mistype on my part. My son is 8 so they are 6 1/2 years apart.

Hello there! I have three children ages 9, 6 and 2. They are all four years apart and I think it is wonderful. I really don’t see any particular difference in them besides the age difference. I love it because they all have their own way of helping me out with the younger ones. My daughter is in kinder and my oldest son is in the fourth grade. Although my son has a disability he is truly proud to be “big brother” at school and checks on his sister almost every hour…lol… They usually get along real well. I guess it is because they really don’t notice the age difference too much because they all pretty much like the same things. As for myself, I don’t think I will be having another one two years from now…lol..I have already been blessed with three and the age differences have kept me on my toes this long. I enjoy being a mom and the age difference has helped me along the way, in terms of experience.

Thanks for replying. My son is definitely a wonderful big brother. He is so happy and protective of her. I don't think that I will be having anymore either.
