What does the Star Color Mean?

I see there are different color's on the star's, What does it mean. What color is for what? I know the number's are your rating's but what about the color?

yesterday my color was yellow and today is silver.i cna not understand waht itmeans.but i releized that,its changing with star rating.

As far as I know, it is a different color for each number, so even a person who may not understand western numbers can differentiate among the colors. Dark blue is a ten, red is a nine.

I wasn't sure either, so I thought I would look at what other people have put on this discussion. I assume that it does change colour when the number changes.

well i don't think they mean anything at all. if the stars don't have a background they wont stand out. so they have colors. thats the only explanation i can come up with.

The star indicates your rating from others. Each time a person rates your reply, your percent changes. When you reach a new star rating, the color and number changes.

So if you have a red at 9 today, and it changes to a gold at 8 the next day. Does it mean you have got negative ratings? What does that mean? Thank You!

I don't know but I will be interested to see the responses. I am a new member and am still trying to learn all I can about how this site works. Thanks for asking, I was wondering myself about what the colours mean.

Welcome to Mylot, I have learned as I go as well. I finally got my star after 100 and now it continues to change it's color I don't know if that means I am doing bad or good. Hopefully we will see. Thank You for the response and Good Luck.

I noticed that my color changes with my number. I also have noticed that when I go on to post about smoking my points go down. I am sorry that I don't agree with people being narrow minded and self rightous. So my color is now purple.
