How did you meet your significant other?

I had gone to a health club to play racquetball with a friend. While we waited on our court, we went to the TV viewing room where two college teams were playing basketball on the screen. These two teams are arch rivals. When the team that I like scored, I cheered. Most everyone in the room looked at me with disgust. One gentleman, across the room rose and walked my way....the rest is history!

My husband and I met in an AOL music chat room, just over 10 years ago. He and I were probably the oldest people in the chat room (the rest were a bunch of young punks. LOL), and we were making fun of everybody's musical tastes. HAHAHA We were attracted at first to our mutual taste in music, plus our screen names both were "cat" related.

We met at our work place. We were both daycare teachers. He had the oldest boys and I had the two year olds. the first time he asked me out I turned him down. He did ask again and this time I went out with him. We've been married for 25 years.

My hubby and I of 35 years met at a homecoming where both our parents were into selling Amway at a booth. He had just gotten out of the army. So after the few days of homecoming were over, I thought it was over for me too, but glad to say, he started coming over to my house to see me and made such a good impression, that we got married a year later. :)

My story is boring but i think my parents is a nice one. They were both from different parts of Scotland and moved to Canada about the same time. Their main reason they tell me was to meet someone different. They both came from small communities, so someone from another country seemed to be a rather romantic idea to them both. It turned out that one night out my mother was with some friends and my dad was with his. There eyes met across the bar and love had struck. It turned out that they only lived a few miles apart back in Scotland but had never seen each other until they met in Toronto. They got married had me and moved back to Scotland.
