Is there such a thing as a platonic relationship? / myLot

I have many friends that are guys and a few that are gals. Since I got married (that was 8 years ago), I'm slowly losing my guy friends. My husband says there are no such thing as platonic because being a guy, he said that guys only have one thing in mind. Myself, i enjoy my friends' company regardless of gender. What do you guys think? Is a platonic relationship possible between a woman and a man?

hi there I had this kind of conversation with my husband many time.... and he also says the same thing that "Guys only have one thing in mind...." and i really don't think that way.... Even I do enjoy the friend's company regardless of gender

Thanks for the reply. It's just sad to know that i'm slowly losing my friends after i got married. In fact i've known my guy friends longer than i know my husband. Do you still meet/chat with your guy friends? Do you tell your hubby?
