It's a question that we have all been wanting to know.... But why IS February the shortest month of the year ? Is it really because of some strange scientific reason (like the winter solstice occurs for 23.453456543 hrs.... therefore, affecting the months, blah blah....) ? ......or because we make it like that ? If February has such a long name, why is it shorter than May, which has such a short name ? IF Crazy Creatives want to know why YOU think February is the shortest month of the year. Don't go literal...... tell us your wackiest and craziest answers..!!

Time is manmade. Tracking time was thought up by a man. Logic has really nothing to do with it. Forced the need for leap year. To ajust the man made time. Busy work if you ask me. The Swiss who make great watches don't awake by alarm clocks I hear. Then why do we? February being the shortest doesn't bug me since that makes it closer to garden time! Yay!!

that is a true fact but it counts in terms of daylight and some calculations it is ofcourse man made but it carries a huge story and scientific formulas behind this story.

Because if one of the summer months were the shortest, it would break my heart, because summer is my favorite time of the year and I want it to last longer, lol! Actually, I love love love the fact that February is so short, because it gets me closer to April, when my birthday comes around and when my favorite place in the world opens up again, which is our local amusement park. Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, that is why February is so darn short! Because I like it that way! hehe ^_^
