Life today is dominated by the technological developments. Today health is considered as the most useful asset for every one. To be healthy one must spend sufficient time in assessing the health condition of oneself. It is good to have a periodic check up of health and diagnose a problem even before it threatens to affect you. In all walks of life, one has to be careful and think in terms of being pro-active to health conditions rather than being reactive

Absolutely prevention is better than cure, but taking care of yourself with plenty of exercise and healthy eating always helps too!

Yes, I totally agree with your thought that prevention is better than cure! One should not wait until he/she is already in a dreadful or hard-to-recover condition before seeing a doctor or thinking about preventing something he/she does not want to happen. Chances of recovery is better while in the early stages yet of an illness. In a new discussion I just started awhile ago, I talked about Digestive Enzymes - a powerful food supplement that helps "retard aging and increases a person's immunity against diseases". Many have and are already using enzymes to help them with whatever health problems they may have. You are welcome to please also try to look further into this subject by viewing my discussion. More power to you.

You are cent per cent correct. There are some dreaded diseases which if it is detected in early stages it is curable. There are some diseases which is notified at earlier stages, one can take medicines and cure it. Otherwise it may result in operations which are expensive.

I have always been a fimr believer in preventive medicine. Some of my friends and family think I am silly. They think you should ever see a medical person unless you are sick. I would rather been seen once a year with a complete exam and nip it in the bud before it is discovered and progressed to far. I am not the healthiest person, but I do have less colds and things that keep me down than others. Of course here in america there is a pill or patch for every ailment, so people take advantage of this and think they can go on until they are rushed to the Hospital.

Yes very true. Prevention is best. It will cost you less and you will get less pain if you care to take precaution. Lots of people wait till they get sick and lying on bed to see a doctor.

Thanks for the response. An apple a day keeps the Doctor away. It is less costlier than a Doctor. May you be bestowed with the best of health for years to com.

Agreeing with your views I am firm believer to first care for the health and then to go on and do not look back until u achieve your goal. If your health is not sound you can not go ahead what to talk about to achieve the goal.

I totally agree with you.Prevention is better than cure.If we could prevent any diseases by avoiding anything that would trigger then we can do it.Like for example, we already know that smoking can cause lung cancer so why smoke? Not smoling can prevent you from having lung cancer. But i believe if its our time we can never stop it.Only God knows and whatever happen in our life He has the reason for it.And its for our own good.
