technology in army

guys, im a girl in southern africa.at the moment im doing apprenticeship at a sugar company for instrumentation and process control.i would like to join the army in technology and would like you guys out there to help me.i want to know what to expect and what really is done.so if you have a brother,sister cousin,mom or whoever knows,plz help.all the info you can get
