When I was young, I didn't care about fashion until I was 11 or 12. Now I walk around the shopping centres and see kids as young as 7 and 8 wearing mini shirts and boob tubes! They've been dubbed 'tweenies' and personally I think it's terrible. Do you think parents should control what their children wear? and do you think 8 year olds wearing boob tubes and platform wedges is wrong or just a sign of the times?

God! I think it's too munch for children. I mean that in this way parents don't let their children to have a nice childhood. When I was tha age I loved to play with my dolls and friends and fashion wasn't one of interests at all. Maybe these are the times, this is the society we live in and each generation brings something new that other generations can't understansd. Sometimes I don't understand 16 years teen and I am only 20.

I think 8 years old is waaaay too young for that. I was a late bloomer and did not care about that until 14 oe later. I don't know what is going on these days!

I have a couple of friends who always keep their kids in the latest fashions. As a result the kids are always demanding new clothes and aren't happy with wearing cheap ones. My kids have to put up with what they have, often sale stuff from cheap shops or second hand clothes. I think that they should learn to develop their own style in time through wearing a large selection of clothes rather than being in the latest fashion and looking ridiculous.
