Me trying to lose weight - A picture of me from about 6 months ago, a picture of me from yesterday, to see if I am making progress in losing weight.

Ok, this is my first in a series of lame posts where I ask you to look at the pics and tell me what you think. I am trying very hard to lose my baby weight, and it is a pain. But I have noticed a few little things, like the fact that I can get into my size 18 jeans instead of my 18W. Not a huge difference, but a starting point right? I am just curious if you can see a difference at all between these two photos. The one in the black outfit was taken like 6 months ago, the other one was taken yesterday after my first 2 wks of working out and eating better. Is it all in vain or am I getting somewhere?

I think you look great. You definitely look thinner on the top half of your body and your face. It's a little harder to tell on the bottom, but I think that's because the style of clothes you are wearing in the two pictures is so different. Great job, keep going! You'll be svelte for summer in no time :)

You go girl! It might not seem like a big difference to you now but just wait! When you are a size 18, losing 10 pounds does not seem to make that much of a difference. When you are a size 14 and you lose 10 pounds your pants will be too big for you to wear. How is that for motivation? You can do it! I am right there with you, my baby is 2 now so I can't really call it baby weight any more. lol

I can definitely see a difference! You're doing good and the exercise will help you tone those muscles and help burn fat at the same time! I can see a difference across the hip area--keep going girl! I know you can do it!

Awesome! It is so nice to know that I have finally found something that is working. I just like the fact that it isn't all in my head.

Sounds like and looks like you are doing great. They say to remember that it took time to put the weight on so it will take time to take the weight off. If you lose it too fast you will just put it back on again. You should only lose about 2 lbs. a week. I have joined Weight Watchers Online. Don't have time to go to the meetings. It is a great site with lots of recipes and the thing that works for me is recording what I eat every day. You would be surprised how that helps with the weight loss. And of course I walk 30 minutes everyday. It just makes you feel better. Good luck with your weight loss.

Thank you. I am a member of cafemom and a few of us on there kind of started our own weight watchers type things. We exchange exercise and meal ideas amd offer each other encouragement. I think that is the biggest help is having people to share in the process.

I can tell a difference! You look good!, and fortunately, you have a great shape, unlike my problem of too much fat mostly around the belly area. My baby is not a baby anymore, as she will be 2 in March, but I still look like I just gave birth! You're looking great! Congratulations!

Thank you! I am trying SO hard. My son will be 15 months here very shortly. I wish it hadn't taken me so long to get started, but it has made an awesome difference in so many parts of my life.

What’s important is how many calories you consume; not when you eat them. Many successful dieters save 200 to 300 calories to eat at night. Sure, eating a big steak before you go to bed may give you some indigestion, but it won’t ruin your diet. Eating at night may be the best time for you. You’re at home, the kids are in bed, and you have time to enjoy your food. Oprah says she doesn’t eat after dinner, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t have a late snack and still stick to your diet.

really love,no body can help you more than yourself,c what do you want then put your foot down, never say i have to,or i'm going to treat myself with this one, treat yourself when you are happy with the way you look, honestly i know how hard it is cos for some reason every so often i have to loss it too and it is a killer, your case is different but it is so easy to put on and it's hard to loss, you have to work it hard,i know some people say if i go gym people watching me or i cant go on my own but on the other hand when you go to gym cos you think people are whatching you then you work out more how ever if i go there i stop when i think is enough and never work out more is some cases that's wrong, get some more help on your diet too.never eat late even a little(i mean after 9-10pm)every night try to have a glass of mike it helps you to use toilet more, check from this web weightloss.about.com how much calories do you need per day and how to calculate them then you know and that would help you diet and your work out.good luck and don't give up you are in there know
