in the year 2005, my younger sister, nadia(17),was suffering from fever & weakness after so much of treatment, doctor recommended us to go for a blood test, after undergoing the test we found out that her haemoglobin level was 4.5 (normally its 12),after the bone marrow test it was confirmed that the girl was suffering from acute leukaemia. after 2 to 3 times of blood transfussions, she had severe fever temperature & weakness,on 25 april 2005 we got her 12 std results, she got A grade, the next day,around,8 am in the morning, we lost her forever. but our misery did not end here on sept 4 2006 my brother (22) khaliq was not keeping good health he had cough,no medicines worked .The doctor asked us to get an X ray, his right lung was invisible, it was filled with some type of liquid, after fluid tapping the doctor told us that it was some type of tuberculosis. taking injections will be al right. but after one week again we had to go for fluid tapping, the third time we cme to know that it was another type of cancer called non hodgkins lymphoma, you can imagine what we were going through. we also started homeopathic treatment. the doctors asked for biopsy to determine the exact type. on 2 nov 2006, at 9.30 am they took him for biopsy, suddenly the mass inside the body got burst because of biopsy and spread to other organs.he was put on ventilators, & never regained consciousness, at around 2.30 p.m. he slept forever. we only heard of this disease, but never imagined that it will take away my little sister & only brother.

I am terribly sorry for you. You lost two important people in your life. After reading your story, I suddenly became concerned for you. I have always believed that prevention is the key to any sickness. In my case, I almost lost my youngest sister to a lung tumor that had a big possibility to become malignant. When she about 8, she had persistent coughing that lasted for months, and even became worse. One day, my mom asked me to watch over her for a while. I noticed that for a few minutes, she would have difficulty of breathing. I called up my mom and we rushed her to the hospital. The doctor did a bout of examinations and told us that it was good we didn't wait for the condition to get worse. She got operated on. It was a critical surgery because of the tumor's location. If she didn't get that operation, she wouldn't be with us right now. My thought is that since you lost your 2 siblings to cancer, maybe you should also watch out for your health. I do believe that prevention is the key. Welcome to myLot!
