I think birthdays always make you most reflective. Listening to music has always been incredibly soothing for me and listening to music from the 70's and 80's transports me to my youth. I think 2 songs that remind me the most of my early childhood are "Enjoy yourself" from the Jacksons and "Sadie" from the Spinners. There are so many others but those two hold special memories. What songs do consider to be the "soundtrack" of your childhood?

My parents listened to country music - old time country music so that is what brings back my childhood memories when I hear it. Rhinestone Cowboy by Glen Campbell was my favorite song when I was a little girl and reminds me of my dad. My mom use to sing ABBA in the car alot and I loved hearing her humm the songs. She was a huge ABBA fan - so when I was at home, I would take her 8 track and the player into the garage. I'd put on one of her old long sexy nightgowns with lots of lace and sing to my dog in the garage through a hairbrush. Dancing Queen is one that always comes to mind. I thought I was a member of ABBA back in those days :) Music was a big part of my life and still is so I have alot of songs that bring back memories. When I got a little older, I listened to Shaun Cassidy, Rick Springfield and The Eagles. As a teen I was into The Clash, Duran Duran and all those old 80's bands.

I was born in 1974. I remember Shaun Cassidy, Leif Garrett and the Beegees being popular. But when it comes to songs, I remember.. "Put Your Hand on My Shoulder, Rhythm of the Night, We Are The World, Live To Tell, Footloose, Telephone"...

I was born in the later seventies. I still listen to alot of "80s" music. It brings me back to my childhood and all of my youth friends. That is one reason why I still listen to that music today.
