What my blog is about.

My blog is about everything to do with survival and since I had a bunch of lists of survival information, I decided to call my blog survival-list, as apposed to a survivalist. Most "survivalist" materials deals with individuals or small groups and families managing to survive all by themselves. I am not saying it can't be done, but I figured out my chances of surviving go up if I stay in a larger community. Yes we will need the skills of the lone survivalist in certain circumstances, but for the larger amount of people to survive we will need co-operation. My blog deals more with specific issues and finer details, but it also has a wider viewpoint. my question to you is what are you personally doing to prepare for coming hard times( floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, food shortages and fuel shortages) ?
