The Universe Is Out To Get Me

I spent all morning looking for fabric glue. Fabric glue. It isn't a difficult item to come by. Any hobby, craft, fabric or corporate chain store should carry it. I'm not picky about the brand, as long as it sticks fabric together I'm happy. All morning, four hours, on the hunt for one measly tube of fabric glue.
Was I able to find fabric glue? No, I was not. I'm still stunned and confused. All I need is a single, simple tube of fabric glue. That's it. Nothing more. And yet, the universe has deemed fit that I should not come into possession of that one most coveted item.
It's one of those days where I feel like the universe has chosen me to be the butt of its daily jokes. I feel as though no matter what I was looking for, it would have eluded me. Murphy's Law, I live by it.
Cosmic sense of humor is a b1tch.

LOL you have just totally made me laugh i had a similar problem a few weeks ago when i needed that iron on hemming for my new curtains, could i find it anywhere nooooo....after spending over 5 hours dragging round shops, buying tons of items i did'nt need....i still had no instant iron on hemming and yes you guessed right i spent the next two days sewing my hems up by hand, and of course a week later, i'm out shopping and guess what was starring back at me from the shop window....HEMMING BOND

Oh man, isn't that the way? I've got more hemming bond than I know what to do with, actually. But it's the wrong color for what I need. I used to always see fabric glue everywhere, and now it's nowhere to be found!

i'll join you lol..i think sometimes i am the cosmic trashcan cos the amount of crap that get's thrown at me at times..i think that is all i have mutated into lol..

Welcome to my world.
For me the item was 1" elastic and the store was Hobby Lobby.
I'd tell you the story, but I'm not quite over it yet.
