Do you think it justified Yonis Khan playing ODIs for Pakistan : I don't remember his contribution in any single ODI since he came into Pakistani Team. What you say?

No, I do not think that He is not just a Test player. He is a good batsman and a fieldsman as well. Basically he is a middle order batsman who likes to rotate strike too much instead of hitting it for fours and sixes. And in the conditions like our opening stand is not really working he is an asset in ODI and Test.

If u r serious in cricket then u should see all the matches of pakistan cricket team. Because there were lot of moments when he put pakisan on to the front in a winning situation of the match. Although he is not very consistant as is Muhammad Yousaf, but still he is very good batsman to be selected in th world cup team and he is ranked third in batsman of pakistan cricket team after Muhammad yousaf and Inzamam ul haq

what yaar, you are talking to leave younis Khan from the team, the guy who rattled the Indian bowling, I think you have forgotten the INnings he played against Inida, In pakistan team if there is a technically currect Batsman it must be Younis Khan, what about players like Farhat, you think he deserves his place, I dont think so?

Younis is a utility player in ODIs, he did perform well in some of the ODIS he played, but as a whole not much to talk of. I never thought of him as good ODI player. He tries his level best, but he do not have shots to score in ODIs. ODI cricket has changed alot, you can not rely on batsman like younis. There are hardly any left, who play a game of taking singles, doubles, rotating strike. We have two Power-Plays, and also that these days you get to chase more runs than before. Considering all these things, I would not say, Younis deserves a place in ODIs. Thing which beats me, baffles me is that Imran Khan always supports him. Now we can not say that Imran has no knowledge about cricket. He is simply the best when it comes to knowing the game. What can I say of Imran when it comes to supporting Younis Khan.
