will a woman agree to marry younger than her ?

I have come across 2 instances among our close acquintances that older woman (say above 40years) preferring to marry younger males, but I have not come acrross young girls (say 20 to 25 years) do not prefer to marry boys younger to her.

I always dated older men...until I started dating my husband who is a year and a half younger than me. Obviously we got married! Age is not an issue for us, though it is not a large age gap sometimes it seems longer, like right now when his numerical age is 2 years less than mine since I just had my birthday and he hasn't had his yet. I think if age is stopping someone from getting married then they shouldn't get married anyway.

I am married to a younger man. It has worked for 22 years.He is five years younger than me. So yes older woman and younger men can work as well as younger woman and older men.
