I have some auctions going on now on ebay. The fees are not to high, it does depend on what kind of auction you want. I have a website www.grammasmagic.com when you go to it, it will take you to my auctions. The auctions I have going now cost me 85 cents to put up, then if the item sells, I have a final value fee to pay. If it doesn't sell I still have to pay my auction fees. Feel free if you have more questions to ask me, you can add me to your friends list and then you can send me a message, I would be glad to help in any way I can. Good luck.

Hi, I have a few small auctions up now also. I've been an ebayer for several years. I used to sell fat quarters which is just a small swatch of fabric. They usually cost me around 75 to 99 cents each. I sold them for $1.99 and have had them go as high as $35.00! Laurie

I'm on eBay all the time - but these days i buy more than sell. I seem to have lost nearly all of my market for items I was selling so it is pretty much a lost cause. eBay fees suck - I used to have a shop but they increased the fees by 40% which is too much to compete with. I don't see why they have to up and up their fees so often - especially when they must be making millions easy off fees. I've only had a few bad experiences with ebay [one of which made me totally change my opinion of someone who i thought i knew] but it's all chalked up to experience.

oops - forgot to answer the question ... profit wise the most i've probably made is around 300% more than what i originally brought the item for. It was only because of it's rarity that it fetched so much.

I sell on ebay regularly. The Fee's aren't to bad but I don't think you should have to pay the list fee if the item doesn't sell. I sell clothing and after fee's I usually profit between $10-$15 an item.

We bought a box of old Transformer toys (about 15 of them) at a yardsale for $3 and my boyfriend resold them individually on ebay for a total of over $225. That's pretty huge. We only ebay as a hobby, when we find something good that we think will be worth the fees. We will usually put a small bunch of stuff on once every few months, especially right before Christmas time.

I was at a yard sale and paid a nickel for a beat up used Airex Catcher's glove. It happened to be some off Japanese brand which I ended up selling for $70 dollars.
