Favorite Tool song?

Alright, let's have a poll about what's the favorite Tool song among their community of fans around here, I'll keep it updated within every new answer. For me, their best song is clearly Aenima, it has some very distinct lyrics, very wise, and musically features some of the best riffing and drumming Tool has ever been able to produce. What about you? What's your favorite Tool song? Why?

I also vote for Ænima, it has incredible lyrics and I remember that when I saw them live at a festival the sun suddenly started to shine as they played this song after a whole day of rain. It made my love for the song even stronger, very special!

i think that "rosetta stoned" is the best song that tool have released. the first time that i listen to it, i didn't think that, but after two or three times you can feel the terrifying mixture of sounds coming from metal, from noise and from anything of good that we can find on music.

the reason i like tool is the fact that there is no formula behind their songs. to me the fact that it is different is the reason that it one of the best songs.

That one has quite a...hmm, wicked atmosphere into it. Sudden changes of tempo, weird singing, etc. I don't think it follows the standards of the average Tool song, but it's a decent one. Thanks for your reply.

My all time favorite song by Tool is Lateralus! I can't even begin to describe the emotions i feel every time I hear that song!

Aenima has to be my Fav. It is my angry song. If I have a bad day at work or something I blare it really loud and repeat it many times. I just really love this song.

My favorite Tool song has got to be Sober. It describes me like no song ever has. The beat is great, and Maynard hypnotizes me with his voice. He leaves me wondering why we can't be sober..and makes me glad that I am not :)

Lateralus, hands down. Just the way it sounds, so random, yet so perfectly laid out, I don't know, I just love the song as a whole.

Oh wow, where to start? I have several favorites. Lets see, Aenima, Lateralis, Schism, Jimmy, Sober, Eulagy, Vicarious, and that's just to start. I love it all, and I love A Perfect Circle too! favorite APC song is Passive.

I don't really dig Maynard's side projects. Simply not my cup of tea. There are many bands that can play within Tool's genre, in fact I'd say it became a bit overrated even. But please pick just a song so I can go and update the poll!
