I enjoy reading, especially in the spring and summer when I can go to the beach and open a good book to the sounds of the waves. However, because of my busy schedule, I don't always have the time to sit and read (especially during the craft show season) so I listen to audio books. They are pretty cool, as I can pop them in while driving to and from work each day and when it's nice out, I'll take my lunch to a nearby park, pop in a CD and sit and listen to the audio book while I knit. I'm almost finished with the 10th CD of a 17 CD book by Dan Brown (author of the DaVinci Code) I like them so much, I may start listening to them on the beach, instead of reading, when the tourists begin arriving in the summer!

Try magazines! I just recently have been turned on to magazines because the number of topics is endless you can always come back to them and they take up a lot less space, my boyfriend didnt appreciate a bunch of books lying around everywhere. My favorites are: Outside, Harpers Magazine, Scientific American, and so many others. I really admire people who can read a lot of fiction me Im different because I cant only because I think its a luxury and theres so much more I could be reading. I have this urge to learn and its hard to settle down to a good story but I envy people who can. I have read about 10 chapters of I Know this Much Is True (Wally Lamb), House of Leaves (not your average horror let me tell you, and you have to really think), some of Middlesex and I really enjoyed them! Another thing I have come to like is bookmarking a bunch of websites that I REALLY enjoy and regularly scanning them over for tidbits of informative news or information, happenings. Some I even found out from here at Mylot when I was choosing favorite websites.

I love reading very very much. Books or online... anything as long as there is something to read. Depends on what knowledge do you want. If you don't like to read the books then u can read online articles..journals..comics.. almost anything availabe online, right? Now, i read a lot from internet... since the bookstore near me do not provide enough good books that i am looking for. By the way..it is free.Just have to pay for the electric bills and internet bills to the service provider.
