What draws you most to James Bond movies? The character? The actor? Or the gadgets? The special effects?

The character is great because you get to see him do things that the average military man cant, its like a hero but with out powers.

I'm not drawn to see the new James Bond for some reason. I don't know why. In my younger days, James Bond was Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton. The technologies, the actors played well and they both looked just as described in the book : tall dark and handsome. I don't know why I just don't really like Craig.

So it seems you were drawn more by the actor.

I think it's a combination of the character and the actor. Depending on which actor it is can really alter the character. I prefer Pierce Brosnan and then Roger Moore in the roles. Timothy Dalton wasn't bad but not as good as them. For me Brsonan made the character very believable to me. The others did well at it but not as good as him. He had a human quality to the role where as some of the others just seemed to be very cold and without much feeling.

Yes, he did seem more human, not quite as super-hero-ish invulnerable. Did I say that right?

It's the whole concept I think. It's not only James Bond, the gadgets or anything else. It's Bond + gadgets + special effects + bad guys: that's what makes a Bond movie to me.

I think that's true. What would James Bond be without the gadgets? And the villians.

With the Sean Connery films it is both the man and the gadgets. With Roger Moore it is the gadgets. With Timothy's films it is both. And with Pierce, it the gadgets.

The bond cars is what that really attract me the most towards the film. The cars used are simply fabulous. Also other gadgets are awesome. Simply beyond imaginaton. I love the action and the way Bond thinks around. Its a great make.

When Pierce Brosnan acted as James Bond it was him and the gadgets and rest of the movie it was just gadgets...
