Why do you Debate?

I can't understand that why all people debte over an issue, this is also a point of debate and i will understand that this is also apint of issue that people post their views and the difficult to point it out, i love having debate over an issue again and again.

Because it is a good way to pass time. Sometimes you learn, sometimes I see something unfair and like to correct it. Debating is also good to learn how to make better arguments.

To me a good debate which works around the principles of no condescending attitudes, no absolute right and wrong, no heated arguments can be very stimulating and is a good exercise of mind - you use your memory, your ability to express yourself and to put words together effectively, and both people/ any audience walks away enriched, with two full opinions and a chance to make their own. Having said that, I would love to be part of a jury one day and get a vote on who I side!
