I'm trying to get admission at a UK's university. They say I have to take IELTS. I must obtain 6.5 band. I need your suggestions what I should do to get the required band. Hope you all tell me some good suggestions.

I also took the IELTS just recently. there are some practice tests that you can download from their website. If you can get a hold of a practice book, that will help you a lot. The key is to practice and make sure to listen very well. On the writing part, make sure to make your handwriting legible because they take points for unreadable handwriting. Also utilize the required number of words because if you don't, they take that as being unable to articulate yourself. On the interview, be confident and try to answer the question directly and don't beat around the bush. I took the TOEFL/TSE as well and I can say that IELTS is much easier. Good luck to you and hope you ace it.

You have to find the IELTs book tips that guide you to your better goal, there are four skills such Listening, Reading, Writing, and speaking, these need to be focused and practice daily. Try to make a test yourself once, you will know the scores. go back to check which points you are still weak, go to that point for study. But don't try to remember your test, your score will not be up next time when you meet real test. Listening, Reading, writing, and speaking need your practice as much as you can.
